Kimberling Area Library is proud to offer you best-selling and classic audiobooks and eBooks available 24/7 from the library’s shared collection web site.  And now you can download many of these eBooks to your Kindle as well!  

 

IMPORTANT!!  When signing on to the shared collection web site, select ‘Kimberling Area Library’ from the list of libraries.  Enter the patron number on your library card (close to the bar code) prefixed by 2 zeroes.  So if your number is 12345, you would enter 0012345.  Then enter your last name, all in capital letters.

 

Once you sign in, you can browse the collection, check out titles, and download to PC, Mac®, and many mobile devices.  For Kindle devices, click here for specific instructions.  For all other devices, you will need to install free software. For audiobooks you’ll need OverDrive® Media Console™. To read eBooks, you’ll need Adobe® Digital Editions. Titles can be downloaded to a variety of devices, including iPod®, Sony® Reader™, and many others.  You can download both audiobooks and eBooks directly to a WiFi enabled mobile device using the OverDrive® Media Console™ app.  Some audio titles can also be burned to CD to listen on-the-go. Titles will automatically expire at the end of the lending period. There are no late fees!
